Useful properties and applications nasturtium in folk medicine


In urban parks and private estates are grown quite unpretentious flower – nasturtium, otherwise known as Capuchin. Initially, the plant was common in South America and later came to Europe. Scientists comprise more than 25 species of nasturtium.

Nasturtium is a perennial or annual herbaceous plant with slightly twisted branching naked stem. Regardless of the type, the length can vary from 30 cm to 200 cm.
